On last night’s of episode NXT UK a superstar made his Main Roster NXT return on last night special Halloween Havoc edition of NXT, as he aligns himself with Pat McAfee as well as Danny Burch and Oney Lorcen.
Pete Dunne made his shocking return to NXT seemingly to help Kyle O’Reilly get some pay back for what Pat McAfee, Burch and Lorcen had done last week, Dunne would come out apparently looking to help O’Reilly, coming down to the ring with 2 steel chairs.
Dunne would hand one of them to O’Reilly as they went to confront Burch, Lorcen and McAfee, the three heels would back away and O’Reilly would drop his chair leaving him open for an attack from Dunne.
McAfee was in the ring bragging about what he had done recently and why he did it, when O’Reilly would first come out to confront him, followed by Dunne, following the bait and switch which left O’Reilly exposed to 4 on 1 beat down. As the 4 men assaulted him Dunne would target O’Reilly’s fingers and arm before Burch and Lorcen hit their Elevated DDT onto a chair. After the beat down McAfee would deliver a promo over the top of O’Reilly;
“We’re the new kings of this brand and that Cauliflower Kyle O’Reilly is Undisputed”

Pete Dunne had not been seen on Main Roster NXT since march when he and Matt Riddle were NXT tag team champions. He was last seen on WWE Network TV on NXT UK where he was a special guest referee for the British Heritage Tournament between Noam Dar and Alexander Wolfe. Pete Dunne unsuccessfully challenged Adam Cole for NXT title at Survivor Series last year.
