Danhausen Talks About The Advice He Gave Warhorse Before His TNT Title Match On Dynamite

One of the highlights of AEW over the summer was Cody defending the TNT Title against independent wrestling standout Warhorse on an episode of Dynamite. While not competing solo, Warhorse is one half of the tag team Warhausen with fellow independent standout and newly contracted ROH star Danhausen.

Sadly, Danhausen was not in attendance to cheer on and provide moral support to his tag team partner but he did offer him some advice before his big match.

Nick Hausman from Wrestling Inc. interviewed Danhausen recently and one of the topics brought up was Warhorse’s match against Cody over the summer, where Danhausen revealed what he advice he gave his tag team partner before the big match while discussing if he felt he could be the next person to challenge The American Nightmare.

“We don’t know, maybe he’s ducking Danhausen. Danhausen must have scared Arn Anderson. Danhausen told Warhorse, gave him some advice. He called him before his big match because Danhausen had to rearrange his library, his books, so he could not be there. So Danhausen said, ‘hey, when the match starts, you punch them right in the groin before the bell rings.’ He didn’t win. This is probably why he lost to be honest.” “Danhausen was very happy for him. Danhausen believes that some people thought maybe Danhausen was going to be angry it wasn’t he who had the spot. Danhausen could not be happier for Warhorse.”

Though a good deal of the interview seems to be in character, Danhausen touched on a number of topics such as filling the void top independent talent has left behind once they got signed, the potential of working with Matt Hardy, and how Danhausen will soon have a shirt available at Hot Topic. Seems things are looking very nice for the very evil Danhausen.
