Jey Uso shocked everyone by turning heel on SmackDown this week, delivering a brutal attack to Daniel Bryan as he aligned with Roman Reigns and falling in line with his cousin.
The Tribal Chief angle has been big for Reigns, who has changed up his look slightly since aligning with Heyman, having ditched the tactical vest and has said in interviews he would be getting new music. Now, it seems, changes are coming to Jimmy and Jey Uso as well as part of this angle.
Wrestling News has reported that when Jimmy Uso is cleared to return to action, fans can “expect some changes to the Usos.” The team will be changing their gear and music up, one of many acts getting new music as the WWE continues to phase out music made by their former composers, CFO$.
While this story is designed to help elevate Roman Reigns even further as a heel, it’s said “This story is meant to elevate Roman, but also to bring Jimmy and Jey up to the next level as well.” It wouldn’t be the first time Reigns has been part of a high level trio, but this could lead to bigger things for both Jimmy and Jey. Jey has certainly taken a huge step in the right direction while his brother is out with an injury, but now bigger things could be on the horizon for the brothers.
