We reported yesterday that former NWA Women’s Champion Allysin Kay is now a free agent.
Though it seems that may not have been the case for long.
Earlier today on Twitter, Tony Khan announced that the formerly named Sienna will face Serena Deeb for the NWA Women’s Title at the buy in pre-show before Full Gear.
It is an interesting situation to see that Deeb has now made two defenses of the NWA World Title on AEW television and is making this next defense against a former NWA contracted talent. This could be the replacement match Khan was looking to make, as Orange Cassidy vs. John Silver was moved to the main card for Full Gear earlier as well.
Full Gear is Saturday, November 7th.
