EC3 was a victim of the COVID-19 pandemic cuts the WWE made earlier this year, and he made the most of it. Generating buzz on social media with his #ControlYourNarrative promos, he returned to Impact where fans assumed he would recapture the same glory he had during his previous run.
Now, his second tenure with Impact Wrestling has come to an end.
Fightful Select has reported EC3 has wrapped up his obligations with Impact following his cinematic match with Moose at Bound For Glory and looks like he’ll be working primarily with Ring of Honor until the end of the year primarily.
He’s now working in Ring of Honor, and will at least be working with them through the end of the year.
His contract status with either company is not known at this time, but there have been reports EC3 is considering doing something separate of either company. Judging by the sound of that, EC3 may be more serious about the #ControlYourNarrative trend than we might be seeing on the surface.
