A subtle shift has happened in recent weeks on RAW, as announcers have shifted the pronounciation of Mustafa Ali’s name. The shift was further emphasized when he recently corrected Charly Caruso and R-Truth on Raw Talk last Monday Night.
The leader of Retribution asked people to put some respect on his name if they were going to say it, and one fan didn’t take too kindly to Ali’s request. A fan responded with a rather racist comment, and Ali wasn’t afraid to fire back and call out the fan’s behavior on Twitter.

The saying has become popular in recent years for calling out someone’s white privilege or racist behavior, and Ali has been no stranger to calling out fans for this kind of behavior, especially with the recent remarks thrown his way since becoming leader of Retribution.
