In an exclusive interview with MLW’s own Alicia Atout, Davey Boy Smith Jr has called his shot against MLW Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu and Contra.
Davey Boy Smith has been wanting a world title match ever since he was the inaugural MLW Opera Cup Winner. On the final taped episode of MLW before the global health crisis hit, he was attacked and left injured by Contra, following their assault on MLW.
Court Bauer has stated on MLW News that he wants this match as part of the restart, saying this on the matter;
“I want this match for The Restart and have a contract ready for Fatu… if CONTRA wants to step up, Of course, after what went down last week when we took back MLW, I would not be surprised if (CONTRA) stays quiet. But, if Fatu is a fighting champ and if CONTRA wants to prove they have a grip on MLW, the contract is here. Just needs a signature.”

Contra Unit’s Jacob Fatu won the MLW heavyweight title back in Chicago on July 6, 2019, the Samoan Werewolf has successfully defended his title against the likes of Tom Lawlor, Ross Von Erich, CIMA, Brian Pillman Jr., LA Park and many more.
