WWE NXT have announced two huge title matches for next weeks episode of NXT. The NXT North American title will be put on the line next week, although no opponent has been announced just yet. Also on the line will be the NXT Tag Team Championship, with Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan having to defend their titles against the former champions Breezango’s Tyler Breeze and Fandango.
Johnny Gargano was able to recapture the NXT title off of Damien Priest back on the Halloween Havoc edition of NXT in a Devils Play Ground match “having spun the wheel, make a deal”. On last nights episode of NXT Gargano delivered a promo regarding getting a certain Monkey off his back, which will require successfully defending his title before having a long reign. As such Gargano announced he would defend his NXT North American Title on the November 11th edition of NXT but did not name his opponent.
After winning the NXT Tag Team titles back on the 21st of October edition of NXT, when Lorcan and Burch took out the Undisputed Era replacing them in their Championship match against Breezango. Now the former champions Tyler Breeze and Fandango will have a chance to regain their titles as the two teams will face off once more but this time, Lorcan and Burch will have Pete Dunne and Pat McAfee in their corner.
Will the advertisement of two championship matches be enough the sway the ratings in favor of NXT in their war of the ratings against AEW? Which match are you most excited for?
