WWE’s 2020 Draft moved a lot of big names around and surprised a lot of people with what they did. When these moves are made, they leave a lot of people wondering just what they were made.
A giant rumor floated around in the aftermath of the Draft was why Braun Strowman was moved to Raw. With the return of Lars Sullivan during the draft, many people thought they were being separated to Sullivan could be pushed and built properly to set up an eventual dream match between the two big men.
While Sullivan and Strowman may eventually cross paths, this is not the reason. Ringside News has reported that they have spoken to a tenured member of the WWE creative team, and confirmed this was not the case at all. They went on to say “there is no truth to that being the reason Strowman was moved to RAW.”
Strowman was moved to give him a change of scenery after losing the Universal Title. He had slowly started teasing his move to Raw by appearing on Raw Underground, and Sullivan is being built for his monster push, but there’s no truth that they’re being kept apart to build for something later.
Unless they end up on opposing sides at Survivor Series.
