Pac hasn’t been in person on AEW Dynamite since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There was one video package in the early days of the pandemic, and then Pac wasn’t seen until this past Wednesday’s Dynamite, where he revealed a new direction in his character in an eerie video package.
So when can we see Pac back in person on TV? The answer isn’t as simple as it seems.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the problem stems for when Pac wants to return home to the UK after taping. There are creative plans for him upon his return, but right now the problem stems from the all the quarantining he would have to do in the process of going back and forth.
Regarding Pac, the issue isn’t as much getting him into the U.S. as getting him back. Every time he goes back he would have to go through two weeks of quarantine. But they do have something in place for him to return.
Pac was originally supposed to be part of Death Triangle with Penta el Cero and Rey Fenix, but obviously COVID has changed those plans. We’ll see what they have for him creatively when he returns to the company’s flagship program. You can watch his Dynamite return from Wednesday below.
