At tonight’s AEW Full Gear PPV, Darby Allin successfully defeated “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes to become the new TNT Champion.
The match saw lots of intense and back and forth action and near falls, including a top rope avalanche cross rhodes. But Cody was unable to keep Darby down, as the finish came fast and out of nowhere as Allin was able to catch Cody after reversing a pinfall attempt into his own roll up of sorts.
After the match Cody presented Darby with the belt acknowledging him as the new face of TNT.
Post match.. Team Taz came out and laid out both the new TNT Champion Darby Allin and the former Champion Cody.
