Why Liv Morgan Wasn’t Used On Smackdown This Week
Ruby Riott won her way onto Smackdown’s Survivor Series team for women Friday night on Smackdown, but absent from the show was her tag team partner Liv Morgan. This, of course, will always lead to question when a tag team wrestler shows up without their partner.
Riott won her match and was absent from the backstage interview she did later on as well.
Where was Liv Morgan on Friday night then? In these times, absences from shows could mean several things besides just a simple absence. COVID-19 could be a factor, as well as injury or other reasons. Ringside News first reported on her status and it’s a familiar story.
Liv, like Big E in a previous report, was simply not used because Vince McMahon never asked about her.
It’s now been said this is one of the biggest reasons so many Superstars don’t appear on television. Writers may have ideas, but if Vince doesn’t ask for them, the pitch is rarely given or even heard. The general idea is if someone misses a show, Vince hasn’t asked about them in creative meetings.
