We recently reported tonight’s episode of Smackdown was having its script re-done. Now we’ve found the situation is significantly more difficult than reported.
Ringside News updated the situation and now has revealed the entire script is being rewritten. Not just a segment or two, but the entire show.
A tenured member of the creative team told them the “entire show changed since last night.” They went on to report a remark about last night’s creative meeting included the word “brutal” because everything was “slashed apart” and Vince McMahon rejected lots of it.
This is not a new story for SmackDown. We’ve reported just how chaotic things have been with the script in recent weeks, and it looks like this week will be just another chaotic day in the office for the creative team. We will continue to provide updates as they come in.
