Seth Rollins has been scheduled to take some time off in the future to be there for the birth of his child with Becky Lynch.
One of the hurdles in this is his ongoing angle with the Mysterio family and Murphy, one of the company’s biggest and hottest storylines. Its popularity is the reason it was moved to Fox, and the angle seems to have no plans to wrap up imminently despite Rollins taking a hiatus.
According to Wrestling News, WWE is not planning on wrapping up the storyline until after his hiatus and he can return to television. This has everything to do with the strong numbers the storyline is pulling in for their shows.
The storyline is not expected to wrap up at least until the end of December or January because those segments are drawing strong numbers along with Sasha Banks’ segments. By January (or perhaps sooner), Rollins should be back to get back involved with whatever they have planned for the Mysterio family and Murphy.
The story line has taken several twists and turns in recent weeks, and it looks like we’ll see a few more by the time the story wraps up, including one that may be used to write Rollins off television while he takes his time off.
