WWE Offering Less Money Deals To Rehire Superstars Who Were Released
WWE released many members of staff including WWE Superstars on April 15th, which was the biggest mass exodus in the company’s history. All in all, over a hundred employees, were released.
Some of them went on to work in other companies. It seems WWE tried toa few of the released Superstars contracts again, but the company apparently low-balled them.
According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE reached out to “several of the people” they let go. However, the contracts they were offered were not like their older ones. The money offered in the contracts was significantly lower in comparison to their previous contracts.
We’ve been told that several of the people who left and signed elsewhere did get offers to return, but for lower money.
It was noted that WWE wanted to sign No Way Jose again but there have been no updates regarding his return status. They have been offering contracts which give less money even though the company has made record profits in the quarters after releasing so many employees.
