We reported recently Seth Rollins will be taking time off to be at home for the birth of his child with Becky Lynch. Plans were set in motion to tie up his loose ends last night on SmackDown when Rey Mysterio defeated him in the “final chapter” of their feud. Rollins looks to be transitioning from that to a feud with his former disciple Murphy, which we will see next week on SmackDown in a position where Rollins either ties up his loose ends there or sets up a cliffhanger.
Ringside News was the first to report his plan to take a hiatus, and now they have reported how long we can expect to see Rollins off television. According to their source, the general idea is that Rollins will miss 4-6 weeks after Survivor Series.
The timing of this puts Rollins out until slightly before the Royal Rumble, but there’s a chance Rollins could be kept off television to be used as a surprise for the Rumble itself, but that’s not confirmed.
