The Undertaker Puts Over Roman Reigns & Jey Uso For Recent Storyline
The Undertaker has spent the bulk of his career maintaining his character, so we have rarely seen him get candid about what he thinks about the WWE product. Now, with his Final Farewell set for Survivor Series, the veil has been pulled back and Undertaker has been more open about his thoughts.
And it seems that lately two stars in particular have drawn his interest with their storyline on television.
Speaking to Vicente Beltran, Undertaker revealed how he was just talking to someone about his enjoyment of the recent angle involving Jey Uso and Roman Reigns. He put the angle over as being easy to understand, which is important along with the work they’ve put out in the ring.
“I was actually talking with Bruce Prichard on the phone a couple of days ago and I mentioned to him how much I’ve enjoyed the Roman Reigns/Jey Uso program, because that’s kind of an old school program, you know? It was very easy to understand, especially if you’re familiar with the Samoan legacy and heritage and how proud that Samoan bloodline is, especially in the wrestling world. To understand that and to have these cousins that grew up and now they’re fighting, it was so — there was so many layers to it. I thought that was the closest thing to really old school stuff that we’ve done in a while, and obviously they delivered. It was an amazing match too.”
With all three men scheduled to be at Survivor Series on Sunday, perhaps Undertaker can congratulate the cousins on a job well done. You can watch the interview below.
