WWE continues to lock down names for their new talent, looking to make sure they’ve got the copyrights for their talent. The two newest names trademarked are going to be familiar though, as they’re locking down the names talent are already using.
WWE recently acquired the trademarks for Joe Gacy and Curt Stallion, two of their newest recruits. Both were talents from EVOLVE they signed in their recent Performance Center class, but Gacy has yet to make television while Stallion has been working on 205 Live.
Gacy is a former CZW talent that had continued to work the independent scene, being a former CZW World Champ and a former EVOLVE Tag Team Champion with AEW star Eddie Kingston.
The former EVOLVE talent continue to settle into the WWE, with the former Anthony Greene (now August Grey) featured on television recently and Brandi Lauren getting renamed before her television debut.
