For the last couple of years, WWE has tied NXT’s traditional fall Takeover event to Survivor Series. Making War Games the signature match of the event, there was no Takeover scheduled for Survivor Series weekend this year.
Fear not, however. NXT has announced Takeover: War Games for December 6th.
While no matches have been announced for the show, and no confirmation the match the show gets its name from will be on the event itself, one would assume as much considering the name. And considering the video attached to the tweet announcing the show features Shotzi Blackheart threatening to take Candice LaRae to war, it’s safe to say we’ll see the gimmick match on the show.
