Earlier today, we reported that Adam Pearce had a gaffe on live television last night on Raw when he referred to WWE Champion Drew McIntyre as Drew McInfart.
Now we can confirm Adam Pearce is aware of his mistake going viral, and he’s pretty sorry to the champ and whoever Drew McInfart might be.
Pearce made the gaffe in a backstage interview after taking some lumps from Braun Strowman who attacked him to try to force the WWE Official into giving him the next shot at Drew McIntyre. While Pearce could’ve simply waved it off by still having cobwebs from the attack, Pearce owned the mistake and took to Twitter to apologize.
Here’s hoping Drew McInfart forgives Pearce for his mistake as well.
