It didn’t take long for Tyler “Hook” Senerchia to make use of that trademark.
Tonight on Dynamite, Taz and Cody Rhodes had an intense confrontation in regards to the FTW Title. Taz demanded the company put some respect on it, only for Cody to give him some noncommittal corporate answers like how he would “run it up the flagpole.”
If that didn’t upset enough, it was the fact Rhodes referenced Taz’s son and mentioned that Hook was training with Cody to become a professional wrestler. The comment did enough to cause Taz to snap, locking his Tazmission on Rhodes, prompting officials and Hook to enter the ring and grab the FTW Title and leave with his father.
Taz’s frustration with the upper management with AEW seems to be a continuation of an off-air encounter fans were treated to after last week’s Dynamite ended, and it could be a bigger sign of things to come, but for now AEW has entered Taz’s son into the picture and this storyline continues to progress.
