Will Hobbs seems to have found a lot of new things in AEW thanks to Team Taz.
He found new allies, a new outlook with a heel turn, and as of tonight’s Dynamite, a brand new name.
Hobbs has been branded as Powerhouse Hobbs, starting with his victory over Lee Johnson on Dynamite this week, revealing it in match graphics. The new name of Hobbs looks to be official as it was on a graphic for his match next week on Dynamite when he and Ricky Starks meet Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin as part of the Winter Is Coming show AEW has planned.
It’s a small change, but the presentation for Hobbs has changed as they look to build him into Taz’s new pupil in AEW.
