Edge Draws Poor Remarks For Performance On Creative Team
The WWE creative team has had its share of stories lately. One of the more positive stories is how Daniel Bryan has wanted to learn the ins and outs of the process in the hopes to help further stars. Right around the time he joined the creative team, so did Edge for Raw’s creative team.
His story might be a little different.
Ringside News has reported Edge is not doing the same as Bryan. He is putting nowhere near the same amount of effort as Bryan on the creative team, not showing the dedication or any indication he wants to learn behind the scenes.
They spoke with a tenured member of the creative team and they were told “talent he’s spoke with doesn’t improve based on his advice” and they added that “Edge doesn’t want to do it.”
Another note made was that Edge has often expressed frustration about how late meetings start, not liking that he has to wait for Vince McMahon. This was information the site was given months ago, but hadn’t used yet in a story. It does seem to match up with the additional news they were given however.
The creative process in the WWE can be thankless sometimes. Whether it’s having your script torn up and have to start from scratch, whether it’s having ideas shot down because Vince isn’t interested, or some of the various other perils that come with working with Vince McMahon, it can often be frustrating to work on the creative team. That seems to be obvious in how Edge is working with the creative team.
