WWE’s short term plan for booking means only one match is in store for TLC on December 20th, which is Braun Strowman vs. Drew McIntyre.
That could be up in the air, however, as we reported earlier there are reports Strowman is injured.
Ringside News did a little more digging into Strowman’s status and as of this writing, they have found no mention of Braun being injured on any reports from Raw or notes from the show.
The company is often tight lipped about medical information, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, but letting creative know Strowman is injured and not to include him in plans would have likely happened. According to their report, the team receives a list of available talent they can use every week.
This could be a situation that’s played out week by week. And Braun has had injury issues before that they played out until they no longer couldn’t, but as of now, there is no confirmation on his injury and he’s still the choice to face McIntyre at TLC.
