TLC is slowly but surely starting to take shape. From having almost nothing at the start of the week, it seems like SmackDown at least set up Roman Reigns’ next challenger.
Ringside News first reported that the segments that gave Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens a face to face would translate into them meeting at TLC, which seems to be the confirmed direction after tonight’s show. The other discussed match, Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan, looks to be saved for the Royal Rumble.
For those that missed it, after a backstage encounter where Owens confronted Roman for bringing his family issues to the SmackDown locker room, Owens wound up turning the tables on Jey Uso after an attack that triggered a disqualification in their main event match. Owens decimated Jey Uso and dared Roman to confront him, saying he wasn’t scared of him.
If plans go as WWE has initially planned, this should headline the show along with Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman.
