Ethan Page Cancels Independent Booking Due To COVID-19 Quarantine
In the age of COVID-19, the old saying on the independent scene “card subject to change” applies now more than ever. Someone could wind up finding out mere days before a show that they’ve tested positive or come into contact with someone who has tested positive and find themselves needing to quarantine.
This, unfortunately, has happened to Ethan Page and he will be missing an ACW show in Wisconsin coming up.
Page tweeted out that he has come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 and will need to quarantine, apologizing to ACW for missing their show and Swoggle.
Wanted to apologize to @ACW_Wisconsin for having to miss Dec 4th’s upcoming event. I’ve come in contact w/ a covid positive person & will need to quarantine for 14 days. That will wrap up my 2020 schedule. Sorry @wwehornswoggle
Ethan Page’s story right now is intriguing. His contract expires at the end of the year and there is reported interest from AEW, but Page’s tag team partner Josh Alexander will not be available with him right away. Page may still find himself in AEW, and he’s a more than capable singles star.
Another thing of note is the fact that Page worked the last set of Impact tapings where Impact discovered a positive COVID-19 test that they worked to hide from most of their roster. It isn’t sure if Page’s quarantine is in relation to this story, but it can’t be ignored.
Thankfully Ethan Page hasn’t tested positive for COVID-19, he’s just doing his part to be safe.
