WWE Laying Groundwork For Several Feuds And Potential TLC Matches
TLC continues its buildup tonight on Raw, and while it seems Vince McMahon has only signed off on four matches, it seems like things have been pieced together for several feuds that could wind up making the pay per view or continue build along the way.
While Vince has approved Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton, Jey Uso vs. Daniel Bryan, and Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler vs. Asuka & Lana, there are still potential other matches on the table. Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer noted they are starting a build for The Street Profits vs. Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler. There also seems to be a build for Sami Zayn and Big E, potentially for Zayn’s Intercontinental Title.
Keith Lee may have something in the pipeline as well if he isn’t the one facing Drew McIntyre at the pay per view, as his finish with Bobby Lashley has at least left something open ended there, while Lashley’s Hurt Business partners Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander may get another crack at Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods.
More groundwork for matches will be laid tonight on Raw as the triple threat between Riddle, AJ Styles, and Keith Lee will give Drew McIntyre his next opponent, something Braun Strowman was supposed to be until he was injured recently. The lack of communication between the right people caused a lot of issues in that regard.
