Backstage News On A Moment Of Bliss Segment From Last Night’s RAW
RAW opened last night with Randy Orton as a guest on A Moment Of Bliss. The segment involved Orton proving he wasn’t the only one who could play mind games, as he had a staredown with The Fiend Bray Wyatt as he held Alexa Bliss.
The point, it seemed, was to show that The Fiend may have a weakness after all, as Orton used him holding onto Bliss as a way to stop The Fiend from attacking him. The way the whole segment went down was a product of Vince McMahon’s vision.
A report from PWInsider says the opening segment was “100% Vince’s vision.” However, it seems not everyone supported the way this went down.
The opening segment of Raw featuring Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss was 100% Vince McMahon’s vision. We are told that several argued against the segment, feeling it was a weak opening segment and needed to overhauled, but you can’t overrule City Hall.
Vince is difficult to overrule at times, and the segment went off exactly how he wanted it to go. While not every fan was thrilled with the way it happened, things seemed to work out the way he wanted. You can watch the segment below and decide for yourself.
