Dolph Ziggler gave back to small businesses on Cyber Monday, asking fans to send him some small businesses that he could help support during this time. Ziggler didn’t just RT several suggestions, Ziggler patronized one independent wrestler/independent contractor in a huge way.
UK-based independent wrestler Mad Kurt suggested Dolph Ziggler purchase a personalized video from him, to which Ziggler didn’t respond with a tweet but a purchase of one, getting £1,001 from Ziggler. With conversion rates in play, that roughly translates to about $1,342 US dollars.
The gesture seemed to surprise the wrestler, who later tweeted out something revealing his shock. Eventually, Mad Kurt asked him to DM him what he would like to see for his personalized video.
Ziggler lives very comfortably thanks to his WWE contract, and this kind of gesture was very generous and altruistic from The Show Off. With the kind of social media power Ziggler has, hopefully others found themselves with a little extra boost from his gesture.
