AEW fans have a lot of questions about the ending of last night’s Dynamite, and lots of it stems from Don Callis revealing New AEW World Champion Kenny Omega will be on Impact this coming Tuesday.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reported that Omega was not present at the final set of IMPACT tapings in Nashville, so there is a chance this is either a new and quickly put together segment, or that they didn’t want to give anything away. It seems the plan is Callis and Omega will film something that will be edited into the show.
“Kenny Omega was not at the last set of IMPACT Wrestling tapings, they are done, they have filmed all their TV for the year. I was told that the plan is this coming week Don Callis and Kenny Omega will be filming something, I assume in Canada, I don’t know for sure, for IMPACT that will inserted into the TV show.”
However it is done, it’s plausible this could be one of the most talked about episodes of IMPACT in a long time. This could be the start of a productive partnership for both companies and the chance to deliver some great programming for wrestling fans.
