Pro Wrestling Tees recently revealed its top selling shirt of the year, but it might now have competition.
The Pro Wrestling Tees Instagram account recently posted an image revealing that Sting has now broken the record for having the most of one shirt sold in a 24 hour period, including in the caption that the 24 hour period hadn’t even finished yet.
Sting’s AEW debut instantly became the talk of Wednesday night, trending on Twitter and all over social media as people talked about his return to TNT for the first time in since the final Nitro in 2001. Sting instantly had his own shirt and line of merchandise for the company as people buzzed about his shock debut for All Elite Wrestling.
A stat like that proves Sting still has draw power in the pro wrestling business, and he might be setting a very high bar by the time the 24 hour mark is over that few people could be able to meet.
