NXT took a big hit this past summer when Karrion Kross won the NXT Title and suffered a separated shoulder the same night. Since then, Kross has been silent on his condition minus a couple of workout videos that have still left him coy about his status.
Triple H may have a better idea of his status and he was rather cryptic about it on his media call promoting Takeover: War Games yesterday. He was asked about the return of the former NXT Champion and used a quote from the star himself to talk about his return.
Triple H’s response? “To quote him, tick tock. Any second.”
Kross’ return would be a huge lift for the brand and a possible surprise for this Sunday’s Takeover. Hopefully Kross will be returning as soon as they continue to imply.
