Alberto Del Rio was arrested in May on sexual assault and kidnapping charges. Those charges were seemingly dropped recently, but it seems there is more to this story.
Del Rio’s accuser, his ex-girlfriend recently posted an apology on Instagram. According to her, Del Rio tied her up and then “sexually assaulted her for several hours using various objects.”
According to Mike Johnson of PW Insider, the situation regarding Del Rio’s case status has not changed.
Court records indicate he is still slated to go to trial on 1/25/21 and that has remain uncharged the last week. I will go by court records.
We will keep you updated on this ongoing story, but it seems Del Rio is not out of trouble yet.
