Demetrious Johnson Returns For Flyweight Title Shot
No, it’s not with the UFC. Although he will return someday.
Eleven successful UFC title defences in one reign and the second fighter in UFC to be awarded bonuses for all four bonus categories. (Fight, knockout, performance & submission of the night awards)
Demetrious Johnson, one of the greats of his weight class, is now scheduled to fight for One Championship’s flyweight title on February 24th, 2021.
Johnson has won One Championship’s flyweight world grand prix tournament and is arguably the greatest flyweight that the UFC has ever had. (So far)
His opponent, champion Adriano Moraes, has a professional record of 18-3-0. All three defeats were lost by decision. He has not been knocked out or submitted.
Can Johnson be the first man to finish Moraes?
