Latest On Sonya Deville’s Return To Television
Sonya Deville has not been seen on television despite losing a loser leaves WWE match at SummerSlam.
Of course, Deville is still under contract and professional wrestling stipulations like loser leaves town are never really true. How long will Sonya be out then, and will we see her back in the near future?
Deville’s time off of television happened around the time a terrible ordeal happened in her personal life. A stalker broke into her home with intentions to kidnap her, and she managed to escape. Luckily for her she had company at her house at the time in real life friend and then-storyline enemy Mandy Rose. The stalker was arrested and thankfully put behind bars.
A recent hearing has given an indication Sonya Deville’s stalker trial could last into the summer of next year. The next hearing is scheduled for February of next year, where it’s said the trial date could be set well into June. However, a recent uptick in social media has some people believing Deville is getting prepared to turn to television, and Mike Johnson from PWInsider said that it’s highly unlikely.
I would not use that as any indicator of her return officially to the company.
If the company is using the trial as a timetable for her return, there’s a very good chance we won’t see her in the immediate future, so let’s hope that isn’t the case.
