WWE certainly has a good relationship with FOX and they will also air the Tribute To The Troops special on FOX. However, with all this comes some complications regarding schedules.
It seems the end of the month will cause some trouble for WWE. December 18th in particular will be problematic for Friday Night Smackdown.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that on the chance that the PAC 12’s championship game takes place on December 18th, then Smackdown will have to shift to FS1 for that week.
“The PAC 12 championship football game will either be on the Friday or Saturday night that weekend. That has not been decided. If it’s on Friday night then SmackDown is going to FS1.”
Smackdown does not have a good track record for viewership when on FS1.
