Charlotte Flair and Andrade haven’t been seen on television in quite some time. Andrade hasn’t been around since the break up of his team with Angel Garza and Charlotte has been off television longer. Both have been for different reasons, but it seems like there’s an interesting idea when she’s ready to come back.
Twitter user WrestleVotes, one of the more reliable accounts for news and rumors tweeted out earlier that WWE is discussing what could be a beneficial return for Andrade and an interesting return for Charlotte. The plan being discussed is the idea of pairing Flair with her real life fiance Andrade. The play would be playing off of Flair’s popularity to help add to Andrade’s appeal and potentially elevate him up the card.
An idea that’s been discussed however not determined at this point is an on screen pairing of Charlotte & Andrade when they return to TV. The idea behind it is to use Charlotte’s star power to elevate Andrade into the main event scene.
While this isn’t confirmed, it wouldn’t be the first time the WWE has paired a real life couple on television, and it won’t be the last. WWE also tends to keep real life couples on the same brand, which matches to the fact both have been drafted to Raw. With long term absences like this, those things don’t often mean much. However, Raw seems like the perfect fit for the pair and could be a great way to give Andrade a chance to be a top heel in the company.
It might take some time to see the light of day though, Charlotte is currently working on an out of WWE project.
