WWE is still continuing the build toward TLC on December 20th, and while the matches have slowly started being announced, not everything has been put together.
Ringside News has now reported that even if it hasn’t been announced yet, one match being prepared for TLC involves Sami Zayn. The Intercontinental Champion seems to be heading toward a showdown with Daniel Bryan, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
They have been told the current plan is for Sami Zayn to face Big E at the pay per view. They did not specify whether or not the IC Title would be up for grabs in the match, but that is the direction right now. Provided plans don’t change between now and Friday, Big E will be Sami Zayn’s pay per view opponent.
It’s a good time for Big E to have a pay per view match. Considering he just debuted a new entrance and theme music, Big E looks to take that entrance to a bigger platform.
