CM Punk parted ways with WWE back in 2014 and has never gone back to the company as a pro wrestler. However, it seems he is open to making a comeback under certain conditions.
While speaking to Renee Young on her Oral Sessions podcast, CM Punk talked about possibly returning to the squared circle. He is open to making a return, but it has to be an “interesting scenario.” Here is what he said:
“Without wanting to insult anybody on either side of the fence, any WWE talent or AEW talent, it would take above all an interesting scenario. A story that would be fun to tell. Also, just the stupidest amount of money. But they could save themselves a whole lot of money if they just presented… a fun storyline. Now, what that is, I don’t know. I’m a pretty picky guy, especially at this point.”
The world of professional wrestling is an unpredictable one and you never know what might happen. We will have to see what Punk does next.
