Update On A Potential Rock vs. Roman Reigns Match At WrestleMania 37
Since Roman Reigns’ heel turn, fans have been clamoring over the possibility of a fight involving the true heir to the Samoan Dynasty.
The Rock has always been considered the leader of the pack, one of the most successful members of the Samoan Dynasty in the company. Roman Reigns has been slowly building a trophy case worthy enough to rival his cousin’s, leading to fans pondering if Wrestlemania 37 could see The Tribal Chief meeting The Great One. While it’s not out of the realm of possibilities, The Rock has some caveats.
Ringside News has reported The Rock is open and willing, even wanting to make a WWE return, but there are some things that are making that difficult at the moment. His main condition for his return is he will only come back if live fans are part of the situation.
They spoke to a source close to the situation and they confimred “there is zero discussion about The Rock vs. Roman Reigns right now.” The source told them Rock has several “written commitments” that prevent him from the match, at least at the current time.
Vince McMahon and The Rock are still in contact “in case” something changes, but as of now, there is no talk about Rock returning. At least the creative team is working on backups for Roman.
