Exclusive: Update On Pénta El Zero M Following Injury on Dynamite
On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT, we saw a six-man tag team match between Lance Archer & The Lucha Bros and the team of Eddie Kingston and The Butcher & The Blade.
During the match Pénta El Zero M was injured and taken to the back after being put through the timekeeper’s table by The Butcher.
I have an update on the status of Pénta El Zero M. After speaking with my sources within AEW, I was told that Penta was actually injured prior to this match. Apparently, Pénta El Zero M suffered an injury to his leg while training a few weeks back, and spot through the timekeeper’s table was used as a way to get him out of the match while he recovers.
It wasn’t specified to me exactly how long he is expected to be out.
We had previously reported that AEW was planning on having Death Triangle vs. Eddie Kingston and The Butcher & The Blade, we will have to see if the injury to Penta delays plans for that match.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about Pénta El Zero M’s injury status.
