Rumor Killer For Trio Of WrestleMania 37 Matches
Earlier today, Twitter account WrestleVotes tweeted out a trio of matches rumored to be discussed for WrestleMania. We reported on the site on this rumor, a triumvirate that sounded pretty mouth watering.
While we have heard the rumor of Edge vs. Randy Orton for a while, Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns seemed like a possibility considering they missed on having it at this year’s WrestleMania, but the main attraction talked about was Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Keith Lee. The idea that the WWE would be preparing a monster push for Lee was certainly enough to grab the attention of fans on the internet.
Ringside News has now reported that none of those matches have even been officially pitched backstage.
We even referenced in the article that the creative team is currently behind. Their source told them “those matches have never been pitched” or discussed in any serious fashion. They also learned that they “were not even discussed within the writers’ meetings where things get discussed what to pitch.”
Another source they spoke to used the word “bullsh*t” in their reply about the matches, meaning that the previous report has been fully debunked. With how behind the company seems to be, it may be a quite some time before we get any sort of an idea what to expect come WrestleMania.
