Trio Of Matches Being Discussed For WrestleMania
WrestleMania 37 talk has been floating around this week, especially as rumors picked up over the idea of Roman Reigns facing The Rock at the big show. While it’s not out of the realm of possibility, Dwayne Johnson would like a few conditions to be met. And while that match doesn’t seem to be in the cards, some early ideas being floated for the show has some big time matches being discussed.
The Twitter account WrestleVotes has been back at work dropping rumors from backstage in the world of wrestling, and in the wake of all this talk about Roman vs. The Rock, they’ve revealed the WWE is now once again talking about Roman Reigns vs. Goldberg.
However, WWE is also floating around another match for WrestleMania that has seemingly been discussed for many months now in a third match between Randy Orton and Edge. This would be the rubber match of the two since Edge’s return to the company at this year’s Royal Rumble and be a nice way to tie that rivalry up.
However, the most interesting of the three matches being reported involves Brock Lesnar, who doesn’t seem to be even contracted to the company at this point. Lesnar is being penciled in to meet Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee, which would mean that a potential big push for Lee is on the horizon to get him to the point of consideration for such a match.
Obviously, these are all discussed matches right now with no real confirmation for them at this time. That doesn’t mean they won’t happen though. At this moment, they aren’t even creatively prepared for the Royal Rumble.
