Update On Creative Plans For The Former Forgotten Sons Trio
WWE seems to have gone forward with officially splitting up The Forgotten Sons.
Last week on SmackDown, Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake were alongside King Corbin while it seems like the creative team has ideas to pair Jaxson Ryker with Elias. With the trio no longer on the same show, they are definitely moving forward without being a trio.
Ryker’s appearance on Main Event is still a bit more fluid. It was placed on Main Event to be considered a “soft open” like scenario. If Vince McMahon likes it, the plan will move forward to pair them together. When it comes to Blake and Cutler, things are very much locked in.
Ringside News has reported the situation with Cutler and Blake is locked in and they’ll be paired with King Corbin for “the foreseeable future” and they will be appearing with him going forward. They’re still trying to find the right verbiage to refer to them as when it comes to their relationship with Corbin, but Friday saw the term “lackeys” used often in relationship to them.
While Vince has yet to make an official decision on Ryker’s future, things are locked in for the other two. We’ll update this as we learn mnore.
