New Details On Marty Scurll’s Absence From ROH
Marty Scurll’s 2020 has been an absolute mixed bag. After signing a lucrative contract with Ring of Honor, Scurll became head booker for the company and remained one of the company’s top draws.
Then Scurll was named in the Speaking Out movement and RoH decided to “ice” Scurll once they came back from the COVID-19 pandemic, where he has remained. While it’s said Sinclair Broadcasting is continuing an internal investigation, Sinclair has been notoriously slow about those in the past, leaving the status of it in question.
Now Fightful Select has reported Scurll was not at the television tapings today in Baltimore, Scurll is in Florida currently. While it’s unknown if Scurll was at the Final Battle taping back on December 10th, the company has yet to address his absence on air. What we do know is Scurll is no longer on the booking team.
Considering Final Battle was taped yesterday, Scurll will likely not make the appearance on the show. For now, Scurll remains off RoH television with his status very much in question.
