Professional wrestling and Hollywood lost a giant in the form of Tommy “Tiny” Lister this week, and the world is still grieving.
The actor and pro wrestler, best known for his role as Deebo in the movie Friday and his stint in the WWE as Zeus was found dead at his apartment on Thursday and according to his manager, he may have passed away due to COVID-19.
His manager Cindy Cowan spoke to CNN and revealed that he began feeling sick a week ago and experienced COVID-19 symptoms that “got really bad, really quick.”
Lister was set to begin filming a new movie over the past weekend but had to cancel due to illness. His death is currently listed as “natural causes” in the police report, and there is no suspicion of foul play.
