MJF Reveals Which WWE Match Made Him Want To Be A Pro Wrestler

MJF recently spoke on the What the Heck podcast, where among other things, he talked about which wrestling match made him interested in becoming a professional wrestler himself.

MJF then talked about the WWE match that made him want to enter the world of professional wrestling. He revealed that match to be the first-ever Elimination Chamber match, where Shawn Michaels won. MJF recalled seeing the match live and remembers the emotions he felt once he finished watching the match.

“That was the first match I ever watched. Instantly, I was hooked. The first match I ever went to where I was like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna do this,’ was the first-ever Elimination Chamber in Madison Square Garden. I remember Shawn Michaels won the match, and he was a bloody mess with his weird haircut. He hit the pose, and I just looked to my left and looked to my right and everybody was standing and screaming and yelling and crying. I just remember tugging my dad on the arm and saying, ‘Yeah I can do that.’ So, that’s where we’re at now, and I was right.

He is currently a member of the Inner Circle and it is very likely he will be a future AEW World Champion.
