Bray Wyatt Talks About Potentially Making A Horror Film About The Fiend
Bray Wyatt has always had a compelling character, and his return last year as The Fiend made an already compelling character that much more interesting.
After an extended absence that saw Wyatt return with a character reminiscent of a child’s television show host, Wyatt slowly revealed cracks in the persona, finally revealing the demonic Fiend. Since then, the split personalities have found themselves growing in popularity and interest in the world of pro wrestling to the point where fans want more of The Fiend.
Jason Baker can take some credit for the visual appeal of the fiend. The Pittsburgh based FX artist is responsible for the Fiend mask and the lantern work. Baker has also done other pieces for the WWE art department and has been the effects supervisor for WrestleMania 36 and Extreme Rules. Bray Wyatt understands the important part Baker has played in the presentation of The Fiend, and responded to the fan, saying the only way he’d participate in a Fiend movie would be if Baker himself was involved.
Baker’s response was equally positive, tweeting at Blumhouse productions to contact them! Blumhouse has made their name as a studio for horror in recent years, also being the studio behind the Academy Award winning Get Out. If anyone could market a Fiend horror film, it’s Blumhouse.
