Mexican Luchador Pirata Morgan Admits He Worked In Sex Trafficking Before Becoming A Wrestler

Every pro wrestler has a story about their life before they got involved in the industry. Some of them aren’t always the most glamorous, like Booker T having served time in jail before making it big.

Then there’s the case of Mexican luchador Pirata Morgan.

Morgan, born Pedro Ortiz Villanueva, is a veteran of the ring for over 40 years. A former star for CMLL and AAA, the now independent luchador has seen and done it all in Mexico. And he almost didn’t get that start.

Morgan was a guest on the YouTube channel of fellow Luchador and TNA Wrestling/Impact Wrestling alumni where during their candid conversation, Morgan revealed that during his youth, he made money in the sex trafficking business. Admitting that he wound up getting involved in the illegal profession and that he only managed to avoid jail time after someone paid a large sum of money to keep him out of prison, Morgan told his story to prevent others from taking the same path.

This story was brought to light by the Mexican website MedioTiempo, which covered the news off of Shocker’s YouTube channel. A Google Translate of the site reveals Morgan to have said “As a young man, I lived off women, it was as they say: ‘pimp’,” but if you speak or read Spanish, you can read a recap of the interview here or watch the interview below.
