NXT Star To Miss 4-6 Weeks With Injury
Cameron Grimes’ trip to the moon will be slightly delayed.
The NXT star and former IMPACT X-Division Champion was revealed to have a leg injury that will sideline him anywhere from 4-6 weeks as was revealed on last night’s NXT.
During last week’s episode, Grimes faced Tommaso Ciampa, where not only did he lose the match, but Timothy Thatcher attacked Grimes as a message sent to Ciampa, working on his leg and leaving Grimes in agony.
Grimes then appeared on NXT’s injury report revealing he had suffered an injury due to Thatcher “snatching his leg,” but they did not reveal how long he would be out. There’s no current word whether or not Grimes’ injury is legitimate, but we will report more as it becomes available.
Grimes also wrestled a physical bout against Dexter Lumis at TakeOver: War Games just a handful of days prior to his match against Ciampa, which also could have played into his injuries.
